His photography work is best defined by it’s naturalistic approach, and indiscriminate subject matter, spanning portraiture, sport, documentary & print media.
Angus’s practice blends traditional portraiture with contempory form, resulting in dynamic imagery underpinned by a clear sense of structure. His motion work as a Director/DOP also reflects this, with a keen focus on observational documentary work. His personal work is centred around human effort & our relationship to the natural world. Angus was born & raised in Aotearoa/New Zealand, and currently resides in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
